I know, Mother's Day comes before Father's Day, but I had a great idea today for the projects that my group makes for Ronald McDonald House (RMH). The staff at RMH puts together a gift bag for the parents staying at the house during Mother's Day and Father's Day. We are in the process of making Mother's Day gifts and cards that will be delivered in early May to go in those gift bags, and I promise to post a picture of what everyone has made. Jumping ahead to Father's Day, this is the sample gift I made.
The box is a mini pizza box with a belly band, and inside is a deck of playing cards. I used the JackPot designer paper and Basic Black card stock for the box. The Happy Father's Day stamp is from the All Holidays set, stamped in Basic Black and Real Red ink on Whisper White card stock and layered on Basic Black. I also used two diamond shape brads (retired Vintage brads). I purchased the vest card blanks from Oriental Trading Company, and covered it with JackPot designer paper and added retired Naturals buttons.
